Capture the exquisite structures and patterns of a lush summer garden to create a plaque for your wall. Please bring with you a variety of flowers and foliage which you will use to create your own unique composition in the clay. Plaster will be poured to create the relief and after it has hardened we will clean up the plaques, ready for hanging. I have aprons at the studio but as we will be working with plaster please don't wear your best clothes! No prior experience is needed. Techniques: Impressing and using potter's plaster. Small intimate class of 6 to give plenty of 1-1 tuition. Work will be ready to take away with you at the end of the session but will need further drying at home before hanging. Price includes clay and plaster. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided during the workshop. Don't forget your glasses if you wear them as we will be doing some close-up work!
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations: Please understand I am a small business and cannot offer refunds for cancellations. I will try and find you a space on another workshop instead where possible. If there is someone who can fill your space from the waiting list then I can provide a refund minus the transaction fee I was charged when you paid (2.1%-3.5% depending on payment method). If you paid via BACS I can offer a full refund. Waiting list: If a class is full please email me to be added to the waiting list. I will contact the waiting list if a space becomes available on the workshop. This will be offered on a first come first serve basis. If I have a full waiting list (and extra childcare!) I will look at running an extra class.
