Based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, Anna utilises scientific imagery and research to inform her sculptural work.

As well as producing studio pieces she also works to commission and on large scale public projects, in collaboration with institutions and venues.

Running in parallel to her sculptural practice, Anna teaches ceramics to all ages; as part of exhibition programmes, events or commissions, in schools and via online weekly evening classes.

She loves being able to pass on her skills and knowledge, watching the clay bug take hold in her students, and also finds it a useful space to discuss the environmental issues that fuel her studio practice.

Ultimately she strives to create curious objects that spark a childlike sense of wonder and appreciation of the natural world, whilst questioning our place within it.
