Come and decorate one of my new porcelain snuff bottles! Learn how I slipcast in porcelain before choosing a pre-made, blank, porcelain form to transform into a miniature work of art. Letting process and experimentation take the lead we will play with layering coloured porcelain slips and sprig decoration to create rich and sumptuous surfaces. No prior experience in clay is needed. Techniques: Modelling, textures, coloured slips, sprig decoration Small intimate class of 6 to give plenty of 1-1 tuition. Work will be ready to collect from the studio within 4 weeks. Price includes pre-made form, porcelain, coloured slips and kiln firings. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided during the workshop.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations: Please understand I am a small business and cannot offer refunds for cancellations. I will try and find you a space on another workshop instead where possible. If there is someone who can fill your space from the waiting list then I can provide a refund minus the transaction fee I was charged when you paid (2.1%-3.5% depending on payment method). If you paid via BACS I can offer a full refund. Waiting list: If a class is full please email me to be added to the waiting list. I will contact the waiting list if a space becomes available on the workshop. This will be offered on a first come first serve basis. If I have a full waiting list (and extra childcare!) I will look at running an extra class.
